And what happened at 9 and 10? Also, I haven’t seen anywhere where he’s projected to go in the top 3 rounds, again, highest I’ve seen him is round 6.Williams is a SOPH, not a redshirt Jr.
The 2021 NFL draft took 8 QBs in the first 3 rounds. I don't think you watch much NFL.
No way McCall foolishly elects to risk a possible 8-figure payday to transfer to GT or stay at an FCS school for another year. He's done everything he can possibly do at Coastal
Using Covid class rules ? He's been on campus 3 full years and is a Jr by pre 2020 standards. IOW, the standards used for decadesss previously.Williams is a SOPH, not a redshirt Jr.

Also, Russell Wilson transferred his senior year.
Edit: other than the first maybe 2 rounds, nobody else makes 8 figures, they make league minimum.
No… he would transfer to Tech. That’s what we’ve been talking about. It'd be stupid to stay another year at tiny Coastal and risk I jury. Nothing left to improve & his stock won't either

Why would he not try and make himself a 7th round pick up to a 2nd-3rd? How would that not make sense? No he won't. That's what I'm talking about
Duly noted, fair point. We haven't been a relevant recruiting force since like 1997 lmao. Who gives a öööö who our HC is

The run/pass ratio at needs to be closer to 3:2 or even 2:1 imo. It’s easier to run block than pass block. It’s easier to recruit good RBs than good QBs. And turnovers are significant losses of yardage are much more likely with a pass than a run play. Seriously. How many really good passing quarterbacks has Georgia Tech fielded the past 25 years?Coastal's current run-pass balance is 40:60, compared to 43:57 for us. We currently run the ball more than they do. Coastal's run-pass has steadily changed from 52 to 40 since JC started there. GT's trend is about the same. If recruits have a problem with JC's offense, it won't be because of the type of offense they run.
Avg Run-Pass Balance over last 4 years Georgia Tech 48-52 Coastal Carolina 46-54
Why not improve by balling out against that comp? If you can’t play against that comp, then you’re a well deserved undrafted player who will backup for 3 seasons and be gone without a trace after that. You come in, ball out against them, be a 2nd-3rd rounder and have a team that needs a QB actually draft him, and ball out in the pros. It’s literally that simple.Because he wouldn't with our schedule. Why risk being exposed by the Clemson, mutt, and other better defenses he'd face with us, rather than the cupcakes he's been lighting up?
He will go pro in April.

But look at last year. The 8th ovr QB was drafted 7th round, and is a literal no name on the Dolphins.I bet if he's top 8 ranked, he declares. We are just repeating the same points back & forth now so TBD.

Yeah, it’s kind of moot point. My whole point is just based off if we get Jamey or not.I'll say it again: We are just repeating the same points back & forth now so TBD.

They've beat their fair share of p5 teams so that's who cares
Not just this year. Let me ask you, would you be disappointed with CJC if hired?
Try again
