My father became a Tech professor in 1966, and he and my mother got season tickets the next year. I would sometimes get to go to a game if they got an extra ticket from the folks who sat next to them, but I'm pretty sure my first game was a Thanksgiving Freshman game around 1968. I saw Eddie McAshan at QB a few times, and lots of the Pepper Rodgers option games because I was a stadium usher as a boy scout.

The tail game I went to was 1979. Rats ran the tiger down and stole the tail.

The school wrapped it in a box with a yellow jacket stinging it and sent it to AU.

No. My mom's family grew up in Atlanta. My uncle and his family moved to Newnam in the early to mid 80's.
