Would everyone take a minute

Early 1960’s was first game, I was a little fella about 7 years old. I remember my second game a little better in 1966 against Texas A&M. Kim King was the QB and Lenny Snow at HB. Tech won big.

You fellas are awesome. Good range of age on this board.

Thank you for all the responses and keep ‘em coming if you haven’t yet.

THWG!

1980 Florida. I was a freshman and remember rain and a lightning delay, but not much else (my first experience with bourbon in a flask).

1980 - Navy
Went with RA group from church. It was during the missing & murdered kids time. I was 7 and seriously nervous about going downtown. Still have my GT pennant from that game.

2004 Virginia Tech. It was my freshman year, and I'm positive I went to one or two other games before that one, but it is sadly the first one I really have any memory of. It was a pretty öööö day because I had stayed up most of the night before working on some assignment I had put off, was still reeling from a break-up with my longtime girlfriend that first semester, and we got drubbed. Good times.

1997 Clemson...Thursday night. 18 year old freshman. Broke a 4 year loss streak to them. Fun night.

18 years before I knew a what a losing non-bowl season felt like!

2005 vs Troy, but no real memories of it as a small kid. Started going with pops who had season tix in 2008

I attended Tech's 1973 season opener at South Carolina with my new fraternity brothers. The Jackets lost 41-28 if memory serves.

1966 vs Va. Me, my brothers and dad got to meet coach Dodd in his office, got to meet the players in locker room and pregame cafeteria. Finally had sideline passes. I was nine at the time. THWG!

Honestly can't remember. Went to homecoming games since I was little. Started regular attendance as a student in late 90's.

Back in the late 60's, my father had a friend with worked for the AJC and got us tickets. No clue the other team. People dressed up back then.

I attended some in mid-1970s but too young to remember exactly. First one I remember was Navy 1979. Sat in the old south stands if I recall.

1965 vs Navy. Bill Eastman and Sammy Burke returned back to back punts for TDs. Three years later I enrolled and moved into Towers dorms.
