Cabrera going HAM

Path isn’t the problem; it is that many schools literally don’t care if players can read and for sure don’t expect them to show up for class.

That is what we are up against. And the media knows it.

Do we have a sports business major(vs a business major for sports)? i.e. Sports marketing, finance, administration? What college program makes future Athletic Directors?
Sure, it would be a long term stroke of genius to fill all the high schools in this state with ADs educated at GT, but we should also be the go-to for educating future sports agents.

It would be great if we could offer a teaching degree. I believe we’ve tried in the past but it has been rejected by the Board of Regents.

they sounded appropriate for the task at hand.

i won't hold my breath but hope they will spend more on athletics and make the curriculum more attractive to SA's.

Hogwash. With the academic support athletes have in place now, you have to try to fail or be legitimately mentally handicapped (IQ < 80).

Pretty much where I'm at. Football is really just a marketing arm for the school. If we had no restrictions, brought in whoever, would GT students be that upset if they had to work harder for their degree? Doubt it.
