Players in the Portal [Official "They Gone" Thread]

No player on the Baylor roster is from Jacksonville nor finished their playing career at Trinity Christian Academy where Brooks played.
Again, he posted the same day that his mother finished his doctorate. I bet it’s a graduation there.

So now you get four games plus a bowl game and you can still redshirt. I’m not getting the point of this. Eventually they’re going to just remove the redshirt rule and give everyone 5 years to play.

It's been obvious ever since Terelle Pryor got busted receiving cars and tattoos for free, and they suspended him 4 games... starting the next season against Sisters of the Poor U so he could play in the $$$ Rose Bowl $$$.

Oh yea, and crab legs.

And the playoff was going to hurt the students, until the BCS slowed down making $$$.

Changed the rules during COVID so 9-0 Cincinnatti got passed for Ohio State in the CFP, who played less than half a season.

List goes on.

I feel that Sims is basically the definition of a "both sides need a change" player. I'm not going to pretend I'll be rooting for him but I really think he could do well with better coaching and leadership.

It seems like Sims is an "if only" athlete. For 3 years, it's been "if only" he could be more consistent, or "if only" he could stay healthy. He has the talent to be a great QB, but at some point, it you have to suspect that the problem is more about lack of motivation, rather than experience or coaching.
