#19: Kenderius Whitehead

Re: #19: Kenderius Whitehead (GMC film)

#1 thing I take from that film: he never stops going after the ball. I'm excited that he's coming to Tech. Good luck, kid - glad to have you!

This is his film as a redshirt freshman at GMC this season...kid definitely has a seriously high motor...extremely aggressive...uses hands pretty well or at least tries to.

Will be interesting to see how he handles power running to his side....but he seems to shed blocks pretty well.

When this guy is tearing it up on the field, feel free to drop by for a little I-told-you-so. I'll let you dish it out all you want. Until then, enjoy visions of your dream team of undersized D linemen.
6'3-6'5 and 225-230 is not undersized for a weakside (rush) defensive end in a 4-3. You are showing ignorance here.

The #2 WDE on rivals is a 5-star, 6'5 229 (Chad Thomas committed to Miami).

hell, big bad Lorenzo Carter who's being recruited by everyone is 6'5, 235.

Very John Abrahammy. We got a good 'um IMEO .

You guys are unbelievable. Complain about everything give me a break.

HUGE pickup in my opinion. Already college ready, I hope he comes in and makes all you tools look stupid.

Hudl sucks. Silverlight... in 2014...

For everyone still butthurt over Tuitt, beware, he was best friends with Tuitt when they played on the same DL at MAHS. Also teammates with Demond Smith. IF you watch the film you will see Whitehead running circles around Tuitt. If you could've put Whitehead's heart and technique in Tuitt's body you'd have an unstoppable force. Whitehead was a year younger than Tuitt.

I hope he doesn't know Tuitt's momma

MechEng took his time with that first post.

Sounds like a good grab. Welcome to the flats!

We lost a lot of guys on DLine, so it's nice to replenish, particularly with guys who already have a little bit of experience.

I try to speak only when I know the facts. What a concept. I watch this kid in high school and GT is getting a good one.

Can we get this guy to teach 3GT this phenomenon?

I really like this signing. We can't live and die with transfers and JUCO players, but we don't need to ignore them either. Names like Dewberry, Levens, Lavin, and Allen come to mind. If a kid is academically qualified and has made decent grades in college or junior college, it is easier to keep that kid eligible through their playing years. You don't have to lower standards or create new majors. But, you get a quality football player who can sometimes make a great contribution to your program. This kid looks like he can make plays rushing from the outside. And, he already knows how to line up with a hand in the ground.

And they are 18 and likely to get bigger.

Listen, I get it. You think he's going to be great. I hope he is, but I think he's going to get pushed around a little.

Maybe so, but couldn't we expand his expertise to some of the sky is falling posters as well? I could certainly tolerate a few less people that take any scrap of news, put the worst possible spin on it, and then pass it off as fact.
