You're letting your reading comprehension skills, or lack there of, show. He WORKS on weekends - every weekend. So, no, he will not be at the game this weekend.

yes we won’t be 0-10 under Collins because he’s not gonna last that 10 years. I see two ways this plays out.

A) we get him some coordinators who can actually coach since he has no ööööing clue. Tech becomes a ACC contender and occasionally beats uga. As soon as this happens Collins will shop for big boy contract somewhere else.

B) he sticks with his staff, they’ll get up to 4/5 wins next year but still miss the bowl game. He’ll get one more year. He’ll miss the bowl game again. At that point TStan’s gonna have to fire him so the well doesn’t dry up.
 
I don’t think Collins would leave GT. He wants to be successful here. That being said he is quite a salesman so it’s hard to know what to believe.

And that success is measured objectively in the eye of the beholder. Don’t get me wrong he will definitely use his “success” at Tech on his resume and in his interviews. Honestly I wanna hire him to be my job hunter consultant, get me a ridiculously paid job somewhere I’m not really qualified for. I would pay the man and buy him steak dinner.

Has anything good ever come out of a player’s parent getting involved with fans, coaches, etc.? I’d say probably not.

In this case, she’s not really talking to me - I go to games, I cheer the team while I’m there, and while I’m realistic-to-pessimistic, I don’t think I’m irrational or overly negative - and the post still sort of annoyed me and pissed me off. If I WAS who she was talking to, that kind of post wouldn’t do a thing to change my mind.

Calling out people who have invested a lot more time, energy, money, and emotion when you’re probably just passing through isn’t a good look, IMHO.
