We've won 3 games and lost 5 games by single digits. It can get a lot worse.

Don't take that as an excuse or trying to paint things as better than they are. They're bad. But we could be getting blown out every game, and we're not. With better coaching this team could be a bowl team.

That place is far from full. It’s not just one bad year that causes attendance issues we’ve seen at Tech. We’ve had 1 winning record in the last 5 years and that was a 7 win season. Do you remember when we had one of the longest streak of bowl appearances? Now we can’t sniff one. We might not pack the place but we had a very good atmosphere. PJ and Collins (thus far) have tanked this program.

When did UGA have three straight 3 win seasons again? I haven’t missed a home game under Collins until the season.

It’s not like we are playing a championship caliber schedule. Outside of Pitt, which is mediocre, everyone else so far sucks. We just happen to suck worse.

So we think Ivey is more likely to leave because our fans are angry at losing... and not because of the 9 losses and the coaching that got us here? And yes Tech needs great players but there's still the fact of only winning 3 games.

Maybe you should be more clear then. You say you’ll stay home because we’re losing. What amount of winning will it take for you to want to come to the games again? 10 per year? 7?
 
I’ve been coming to games regularly since ‘04. Had ass in seats for all kinds of seasons, good and bad. What I’m seeing right now after giving CGC a pass in year 1 & 2 is pretty disappointing. I simply have higher expectations, maybe that’s on me.

It fills up with Bammer, Barn fans, etc. Nashville is a fun city to visit, not to watch football because they barely play that sport there

I’ve aired my share of comments on our talent level but I don’t agree with this. Especially with respect to our QB - he just has no consistent protection

Obviously, this is the worst streak Tech has had since the 1920s, but we have had other losing streaks too, and attendance went down steadily during those streaks. Unfortunately, even when we started winning again, attendance didn't recover by much at all. We may never recover from this mess.

I'm not sure how much worse the apathy can get. Most fans I know have given up, and I'm about there. I expect to lose and it no longer hurts.
