This. She was pointing out to our moron fans that "you know, players can go elsewhere". That goes for any of our recruits. It is already tough enough to recruit at GT, especially since we now have the reputation of sending NOBODY to the NFL. I don't know why our fans have to douche up any and every forum that could be seen by players and recruits
 
There isn’t a number. Clear improvement. Beat teams you should beat. Do something well consistently. I expect bowl games as a floor. Miracles to beat Duke and losing to NIU and the current version of VT not working for me.

FB players are at the center of the College Sports Industrial quasi-Entertainment Complex, and his efforts combined with his Teammates & Ancillary Personnel are providing Financial Aid for all the non Revenue welfare Athletes, all the people employed by the GTAA(very good jobs mind you with great benefits, pensions etc).

They are basically 80% ++ of the fundraising for a highly profitable segment of the University.

You can be pizzed about losing a Game or Games, but if you have to bite your tongue , then bite it , cause you should never address an FB Player's parent in that tone, much less use profanity.

Him getting a top notch education, doesn't mean you get to overstep, his efforts are more than paying his way AND helping to pay others way also

You wanna cuss someone out, cuss out a non revenue welfare sport athlete or parent that isn't generating a damn thing but bills with no way to pay them.

The bigger point is that, with a few exceptions, player parents are 4-5 year fans of their son and then move on. Meanwhile, all of us will still be here 6 years from now still arguing about why our team sucks. That’s why player parents telling me what we fans need to do rings a bit hollow.

Everything cannot be all cold raw science all the time, sometimes there's an artistic nuance to things.

They know the cost of everything, but the value nothing........

I'm beyond the point of really caring enough to refute mom's post. As long as your son is having a good time then that is all that really matters. Don't blame the team's whoas on crappy fans.

Maybe we should all start attending games wearing bags on our heads. Paint ööööös (abbreviation for Fans Against Geoff) on our bag?
 
OK guys you're right. I'm sorry, I see now that I was wrong by calling CGC a trash used car salesman. This guy couldn't even sell a used car, he's just absolutely terrible in every way. Parents have every right to be mad, he's wasting their kids' talent in its prime.

Parents of a cheerleader used to sit by us for all the home games.
She graduated.
Haven't seen them since.

Hey Mom! I was riding 6 hours each way to every home game years before your little dumpling was born. Come lecture me in about 20 years. You probably won't set foot in BDS again after your kid is gone. Yeah, I know parents read what we post, but we also read what the players and coaches post on their social media. The target audience is no longer the old ones that were showing up. Not even sure they are even wanted as fans anymore. The desired new audience doesn't seem to be receptive, though. Hope your son gets a good education and we old fans are given a reason to care again.

That’s exactly my opinion. This chick has probably been a GT fan for exactly two years and will not be a fan as soon as her little sunshine graduates. I’ve been a fan for over 40 years and this is the second worst I’ve ever seen it. We have every right to bitch all we want.

Of course I’m still giving it another couple of years, but I’ll still complain about whatever the öööö I want.
