Having had son to play for the USAFA, I am very happy with their win last night against Baylor. Alumnus, Troy Calhoun has
done a good job coaching his Alma Mater. Playing football at the service academies is a grind and much different than playing
in a P5 conference. Those kids have four years to play with no redshirt year. When my son was a C4C (Freshman) at the USAFA, there was
a C1C (Senior) linebacker playing his final year of football at the academy with a knee injury that would have been an instant
medical redshirt at the majority of P5 conferences, but somehow, someway this guy had the fortitude and resolution to play
his final year with a knee injury.
Say what you want to about the service academies, those SA's play with heart and determination!
Upon graduation, they take their oath seriously to defend our country and protect our liberties.
