He just legitimately comes across as one of the least intelligent people I can imagine. Middle school gym teacher vibes.
 
The unfortunate truth is our coach is a moron. He got up and said he’s now installed the culture so now he can work on actual football. I wish someone would have asked him: “At any point during last season, did you consider putting the culture aside and focusing your energy on helping put your elite defense on the field?”

He just doesn’t have a clue. He has no idea what he’s going to do. He’s just talking the game and hoping it all comes together. As I said during the season, he’s learning on the job. Seeing as how we’re stuck with him, I hope he learns fast. But my confidence in him is gone.
 
Jiff gonna “deep dive”. Wtf. Tstan took a deep dive and was conned. I won’t listen to another press conference from this con artist.
 
When your team is losing lotsa games, it always cracks me up for you guys to be parsing every word to twist it into a negative, then declaring the coach is an idiot when you’ve never even seen the man in person.

I watched this on O’Leary, Gailey, and Johnson even though they won more than they lost and now it’s Collins turn. I don’t know if he’ll turn it around or not, but you guys would call Sabin an idiot if he was coaching here.

What? I’m sure I’m not the only person on here that has said more than a casual hello to the man.

Let’s run an informal poll- state the number of times you’ve met him and had at least a brief exchange (not counting hellos, etc) in a crowd of fewer than 5 people where you could have at least a brief back & forth, that’s you him and no more than 4 other people besides yourself.

He’s had a long time to think about what he was going to say in that press conference. I’m not parsing his words. He said them.

I’d be happy for any of his defenders to answer my question: If he’s one of the elite defensive minds in football, why did he focus on culture instead of defense last year?

What did he do the last two weeks of the season to make the culture better? And how did he weigh what he did in those two weeks against helping out our defense?
