Dear God no…

Beat me to it.

What really gets me about ST over the last couple months is how folks have their opinion (which is fine of course) but then follow it up with something along the lines of "everyone involved is a moron and not serious if they don't pick ____ and GT will suck forever".

It was the same in 2001 when we were looking for GOL’s replacement (“Charlie Strong or death!”).

Their red zone O isn’t great this year, but they don’t have go-to receivers this year, either, and that’s what impacts this stat the most.

The one piece their Offense is missing is the big bruiser running back. We all know Gibbs isn't that kind of back.

Maybe Bama isn't as good because they no longer have top pick of recruits. With UGA coming on and NIL, I think Bama dominance may be over. Nick will probably lose 2 games next year and Bama fans will call for his head.

They are missing their big, bruiser RB and top flight receivers this year. They had to raid GT for their RB this season.

Bama's biggest problem is that they lack a true game breaking WR. They don't have the safety blanket they had been used to.

It seems that Bama fans are not BoB fans either -

Worse is “if GT does pick the coach/offensive style I want I’m going to find something else to do”

I get losing interest in the Gef era. But saying you’re going to have a hissy fit and not support the program over any of the guys being discussed, before they even coach a game, is ridiculous.
Key is the Gef era. If Tech gives him the gig the only pleasure I will have in Tech athletics the next four years will be in savoring the inevitable misery of a Collins then Key lovers. I’m amazed at the pass given to key after eeking out a couple of surprising wins and a couple of brainless losses.

We've got to be careful because interim coaches have elements of "Louis Friend" in them. I'm an advocate of a 'clean break' from the softness of the clown regime.

Key did a yeoman job toughening up the softness during season, but there are too many repeated dropped passes and long snaps from the same folks - why are they still being trotted out there !! -indicative of a soft program to not want to purge out the softness of the clown regime root and branch.

More smoke now for Fritz and BoB... Idk wtf to think. All I know is our new AD is keeping everything close to the vest.
Those would seem to be the two hires that will generate the most angst/least excitement. I agree with you that this has been the quietest coaching search of all.
