He’s an infant when it comes to playing in an ACC game and giving a post game interview. No, it’s not. 24 year old men are not kids.

Our QB reminded me of “Marty”
lol
It was pretty clear midway thru the 3rd qrtr we should be running wildcatThere is no way Key should start Gibson next week. Anything, including the wildcat all game, would be better than what we got last night.
I dont think this is a minor injury.Yeah, Gibson sucks. That’s why we haven’t seen him before now.
I’m more interested in hearing Sims explain why he’s incapable of playing through minor injuries. I’m convinced the guy will show himself to the bench for a hangnail.
exactly. you keep trying to do whatever you can to score until 00:00, not end it and take the lossWow is right. So he's basically saying he did give up. That is hard to comprehend.
idk. oline is bad, but homie was holding ball waay to long behind any olineLeave that baby alone! He’s only a 6’3” 24 year old baby! Am I doing this right?
But I’m pretty sure that whoever we put behind that offensive line, unless they know how to run for their lives every down and make a play, won’t be much better than either quarterback. We’re asking our receivers to get separation and our quarterback to make a play under 2 seconds. Possibly the worst offensive line in college football, makes Sewak‘s lines look good in comparison.
I can't really judge. "Run out of bounds and take the loss" is how most of my disagreements with my wife go.
We wouldn’t let him commit. Collins didn’t think he was good and was worried it would chase off Sims.
lol
Collins might legit be the dumbest öööööööööööö to ever be a HC
I don't know how much of last night's result is on the current coaching staff vs öööö decisions made by Gef. There are certainly things they could have done different, but being in their position must feel like running in concrete shoes.
Meanwhile, Swann’s stat line after 5 games (4 ranked opponents, 3 of them Top 10) for Vandy as a true frosh.
60.9%, 191 pypg, 8 TDs, 0 picks.
QBR 72.5 (37th in the country)
Wonder if we could have used that last night.
Yea, but Brent let me let you in on something. He just told the team last night that he was not going to bust his ass for them and simply take a loss. How much do you think they are going to bust their ass for him? Key, you can preach it from the top of the TECH tower, but if they don't buy it, they are not going to do it.So I guess Gibson is our QB moving forward according to Key's comments, whether anyone likes it or not...
Brent Key is Confident If He Has To Move Forward With Zach Gibson At QB - Sports Illustrated Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets News, Analysis and More
Brent Key spoke about the Yellow Jackets backup quarterback after the gamewww.si.com
"Yeah. I told the team in there... we will be in the weight room tomorrow and back on Sunday practicing and with Zach being the quarterback, we have to go back to the drawing board and find what gives him the best chance to run the offense and give us a chance to win. That's something that's... it is not about me being confident, that is only a small part of that. The rest of the team has to be confident. That is the name of the game. The name of the game is everyone on the field and collectively in all three phases having confidence in each other and that is what has to take place. It is those guys that have to have confidence, they have to have confidence that the product that is out on the field and the players that are out on the field doing that, that they are in the best position to go out and have success for everyone else on the team and that is defense, that is special teams, that is everyone else that is playing in the game, that is who has to have confidence. Now, it is up to us as coaches to build that confidence Monday through Friday to build that confidence to go and play on Saturday."
not sure extra reps would fix what i saw. seemed to lack basic understanding of QB position ie getting rid of ball to avoid loss of yards, thats QB 101 stuff. play calling didnt help him. deep ball accuracy isnt there, quit trying it.The display last night shows why it was almost criminal that the clown didn't play gibson in the garbage time during the clemson and ole miss games. At the very least, he gets some reps and maybe he isn't as bad last night - or - we at least see how bad he is in a game time situation and can focus on pyron or Phommachahn as a backup. That was horrendous.
My only hope is that gibson just looked better in practice and that either pyron or Phommachahn might be better in a game time environment than practice. That's about the only hope left this season.
