I got through two pages here. Most of you guys are nuts, just go away.
How's that?I got through two pages here. Most of you guys are nuts, just go away.
I don't disagree. Which brings me to the second point-wr would have least gotten a glimpse of how game time play would be with gibson, and that has to at least give us some information on how he would perform. Maybe there's a chance the coaching staffs look at the other two as a more viable alternative.not sure extra reps would fix what i saw. seemed to lack basic understanding of QB position ie getting rid of ball to avoid loss of yards, thats QB 101 stuff. play calling didnt help him. deep ball accuracy isnt there, quit trying it.
This sounds so familiar and I can't place it. I feel like I'm missing a reference or something.Spoiler alert: he’ll be the starting qb at FSU
Nobody was wanting it to "save Key". Dumbass quit on the last play of the game. Not reading this thread…..if you thought a 75 yarder Hail Mary was gonna save Key …..well lol
You recruiting gurus let me know if I got this wrong. Supposedly Collins let this guy Gibson transfer here because he has a brother who is a good offensive lineman. My understanding is the brother is in the program which is all well and good because Heaven knows we need offensive linemen. The problem that can’t be defended is the fact that nobody was ready to back up Sims as quarterback is a position that is often injured because they handle the ball a majority of the time.Meanwhile, Swann’s stat line after 5 games (4 ranked opponents, 3 of them Top 10) for Vandy as a true frosh.
60.9%, 191 pypg, 8 TDs, 0 picks.
QBR 72.5 (37th in the country)
Wonder if we could have used that last night.
Why you throwing Sims under the bus?“Just run out of bounds and take the loss” is the true branding of the last four years of Georgia Tech football. Collins and Sims jealous they did not think of this first.
Why you throwing Sims under the bus?
Yeah, hey you other guys take a beating. I'm a prima donna QB, can't get my hair mussed up. Yeah, that's a great leadership play to make the other guys go the extra yard when you won't. Quitter, loser mentality and that's at the heart of our program's cancer that has been unchecked for nearly 4 years now. Get to the NFL, but to hell with GT.He runs out of bounds a lot before the sticks. Our QBs are coached to preserve their body. Sometimes that is the right call, sometimes it’s not.
I get that this game is a 14 point game, but damn.

spot on! I have no idea why they let that kid get in front of the mike!! My question to Key would have been " since you knew that Sims might not be able to play the entire game, why didn't you spend a few days prepping him for the game" ????Not sure who makes the call for media interviews, but seems pretty dumb to put this kid in front of the mic after a game like that — his first ever in the spotlight after he played so poorly. We didn’t do him any favors by letting him put his foot in his mouth. Easily could have just had Nate or Hassan go up there
