Gibson: “it is why it is”

Even if he’d pulled off a miracle…..I’d hope everyone would know he’s not the answer

I don't disagree. Which brings me to the second point-wr would have least gotten a glimpse of how game time play would be with gibson, and that has to at least give us some information on how he would perform. Maybe there's a chance the coaching staffs look at the other two as a more viable alternative.

You recruiting gurus let me know if I got this wrong. Supposedly Collins let this guy Gibson transfer here because he has a brother who is a good offensive lineman. My understanding is the brother is in the program which is all well and good because Heaven knows we need offensive linemen. The problem that can’t be defended is the fact that nobody was ready to back up Sims as quarterback is a position that is often injured because they handle the ball a majority of the time.

He runs out of bounds a lot before the sticks. Our QBs are coached to preserve their body. Sometimes that is the right call, sometimes it’s not.

Yeah, hey you other guys take a beating. I'm a prima donna QB, can't get my hair mussed up. Yeah, that's a great leadership play to make the other guys go the extra yard when you won't. Quitter, loser mentality and that's at the heart of our program's cancer that has been unchecked for nearly 4 years now. Get to the NFL, but to hell with GT.

spot on! I have no idea why they let that kid get in front of the mike!! My question to Key would have been " since you knew that Sims might not be able to play the entire game, why didn't you spend a few days prepping him for the game" ????
