Housing Policy......................................

So is yours. I work for USG, graduated from GT and I know what each of our schools does best. I have seen the data. Clearly you're biased regardless. GT didn't have what he was looking for business degree wise (risk management, etc.) so he went to Terry which is much more broad and had more offerings. Btw, he's a die hard GT fan but is realistic knowing UGA had the options he was looking for program wise. Also, check your salary data. It's about 20 years too old or more which leads me to believe that your comment was just conjecture.
Quit sucking uga’s dick

I know that it's disappointing that your son is a failure, but it is what it is. If his goal is risk management, he's far better off with a degree from GT where he can take quantitative courses than from a 3rd program.

And if you work for USG, use your log into to check the ADORS salary survey from GT: http://www.adors.gatech.edu/commenc...llege=TOTAL&level=1&surveyid=62&Submit=Submit I'm using awfully specific numbers for those to be made up.

If you want something public, this is in the Athen's newspaper: https://www.onlineathens.com/story/...ege-georgia-georgia-tech-tops-uga/7146206002/ or you could try the payscale comparison:

But you're going to argue that's the mix of degrees (though engineers make less than business majors mid-career). Not good data for BBA, but let's compare MBA to get a sense of the business schools.

Here's a good article on GT's starting MBA salary of $136,819 https://www.scheller.gatech.edu/new...-georgia-tech-scheller-mba-class-of-2022.html

And UGA lists theirs at $109,785 https://www.terry.uga.edu/georgia-mba-has-top-10-roi-business-schools-whose-grads-earn-over-100k/

I hate UGAY just as much as any other GT fan but to say that the Terry College of Business is an afterthought is not only wrong but baseless and biased. Their business school is highly competitive and has almost 10k students. They have more corporate recognition nationally than our business school. We have limited number of degrees in our business school compared to theirs. In fact you’re not even admitted into the business school until after 2 consecutive semesters. I’d love for you to post your sources of data as opposed to conjecture. We do engineering very well and they do business Mgr very well. Period. If I was doing business Mgt I’d probably go to UGAY instead of GT (sports aside)
It is still a business school and a BS in business is as useless as tits on @GTRules

Obviously you have a reputation here and because my son does lurk on the boards I'll take the high road and let you hide behind your keyboard making fun of someone else's kid who also happens to be a GT fan. If there was an award for A$$hole of the year brah you got my vote.

I mean, he can still transfer to a better school. It may literally be a million dollar decision.

But if you want to mock me for not providing data, then walk away when I provide data, that’s fine. It’s how you get a reputation, here.

lol..good grief. I know a lot of kids that graduated GT, tooted their horns and still couldn't find a good job despite a 'GT degree'. It happens in all schools. FWIW, your rep is less than glowing.

Having a realistic and actionable plan is the main thing required to be successful in and after college. UGA sucks.

This is like saying kids of single mothers have become President and there are people in jail from a two parent home. Yes, it's true, but statistically it's much more likely to go the other way.

GT's business degree is worth much more and is substantially more highly recruited than UGA. These facts aren't disputable, they're simply statistically true.

True story on a somewhat related topic. I used to work with a guys that graduated from GT with an Applied Mathematics Degree and a Juris Doctor from UGAG. I asked why. He told me he went to Tech to get an education and to UGAG to make a living.

Watch out, he'll poop emoji your post and claim you have a bad reputation, so the facts are irrelevant.

In the latest USA Today report GTs program ranks 26th and UGAs 31st. Not that much difference. We’re splitting splitting hairs here because that’s what GT posters like to do. You make the most of your degree based on a whole host of factors but to generalize things is not being genuine either. I called out that dude because he just threw crap out there hoping it would stick refuting his own info after finally does ‘research’. I’m done with this topic but he is an a$$ for telling another GT fan his son is a failure who is also a die hard GT fan.
