Nobody? I did. I wanted him to be offered the DC job, but he jumped to FSU. Kelley's always been a good coach. Hired by CCG to correct his ST issues and did so promptly. Then worked with DB (IIRC) and did well. He was interim DC after Groh got himself canned and did well.

True. I recall at the time that the majority of fans thought he didn't have enough experience to be a full fledged DC. Also at that time the "big name" DCs were Al Groh and Ted Roof, which on paper had more potential as DC than Kelly did.
