Playoffs?

When teams weren’t going willy nilly switching conferences, I always thought we should have a 6 team playoff. Win your conference and you are in, then add a plus one. Regardless of how people feel, next year will be different with the expanded playoff.
Which is probably why they felt freer to do w/e the fk they wanted this year.

Maybe an odd analogy, but it is a good thing that MLB didn't sideline the Braves in 2021 because of key injuries.

It's a part of what makes professional sports professional. College sports is maybe the only sports entity in the world that chases the bullshit idea of putting "best team" (as subjectively/theoretically determined by people) first

A TE is not a QB. The QB controls the offense. Not the TE. Take the emotion out of it for a moment. Heck, had it been FSU losing the RB, this wouldn’t have been an issue. FSU would be #4 even with the close losses.
I wish we had the power to add more than one emoji to a post. Or maybe the same emoji several times.

I'm going to get a GT national championship ring made. We would've beat UGA if those 2 passes Singleton caught weren't OOB and the interception wasn't called back. Close enough. Eye test is all that matters.

Watching the ESPN bowl selection show, it’s very evident how strong the conference affiliation mindset is with everyone. It’s been brought up multiple time in the 10 minutes I have had it on. One of the host even orated, “Big 2” beginning next season.

So ESPN who pays the ACC, B12, etc TV deal, exclusive network, etc, only wanted to screw the ACC?

And rewind 15 hours ago, and had that guy in Tuscaloosa not won, people would be even more upset. WHO CARES air Alabama is in at this point. It’s done. Hopefully Michigan can beat them. Had FSU went to the Rose Bowl, Michigan was a lock to the MNC vs Washington/Texas.
No, you blithering dumbass. ESPN doesn't care whether they screw the ACC one little bit.

They want a team from the SEC in the playoffs.

The CFP Comiittee just annouced Alabama as 2023-2024 National Champions at 2:42 today based on how they looked - their tough SEC schedule makes waiting any longer unnecessary.

I'm sure with 0 input, influence or interaction from anyone else at the College Football Playoff organization.

Or the TV provider that pays a crap ton of $$$ to broadcast the games.

Or the live commentary echoing over the games the committee is suppose to watch before making their decisions.

And for the record, regardless of how we feel and I hate to admit it - the cesspool won the last two championships and haven’t lost in a long time. Alabama definitely has the most impressive win of the top 4 teams.
