Again the irony is rich coming from a guy who has made a complete joke of himself. See the Brent Key thread for 1 of many examples. Enough said. You are literally a UGA level moron if you believe that öööö.
Only 4 SEC. By their ranking OU would of been dropped for the highest Group of 5 winner, Liberty. So if this was next year, there’d be 5 SEC teams, and 4 Big10 teams in the 12-team playoff.

Fk I forgot to count Texas 'correctly', my bad.TX, AL, GA, MO, OleM.
And when proven wrong i admitted it.Again the irony is rich coming from a guy who has made a complete joke of himself. See the Brent Key thread for 1 of many examples. Enough said.
Next year they’ll be saying that a 9-3 SEC team belongs in over an 11-1 ACC or BigXII team guaranteed. So if this was next year, there’d be 5 SEC teams, and 4 Big10 teams in the 12-team playoff.
There would be 5 B1G, 5 sec, 1 ACC, 1 G5 based on final CFP rankings today. So if this was next year, there’d be 5 SEC teams, and 4 Big10 teams in the 12-team playoff.
1. At one time, the rules required must win your conference to get a bye - you are probably right that they will throw that requirement out with conference realignment..There would be 5 B1G, 5 sec, 1 ACC, 1 G5 based on final CFP rankings today.
Byes:
#1 Michigan (B1G)
#2 Washington (B1G)
#3 Texas (sec)
#4 Alabama (sec)
Round 1:
#5 FSU (ACC) vs #12 Liberty (G5 Champion)
#6 uga (sec) vs #11 Penn State (B1G) Note: Precedent shows they would swap with Ole Miss in the rankings to prevent a rematch.
#7 Ohio State (B1G) vs. #10 Ole Miss (sec) Note: Precedent shows they would swap with Penn State in the rankings to prevent a rematch.
#8 Oregon (B1G) vs. #9 Mizzou (sec)
Who's to say they don't try to throw out automatic bids in general?1. At one time, the rules required must win your conference to get a bye - you are probably right that they will throw that requirement out with conference realignment..
2. Also won't the Big12 get an automatic bid? Which might throw out Ole Miss for Oklahoma St.?
That's funny to think they'd actually do that when the 12 is on the line. They won't. Liberty would be an oh so close 13Only 4 SEC. By their ranking OU would of been dropped for the highest Group of 5 winner, Liberty.
Point was that under the current rules, there is an automatic in for the highest ranked group of 5 conference champ, regardless of what that rank is. Until they throw that out completely of course. That's funny to think they'd actually do that when the 12 is on the line. They won't. Liberty would be an oh so close 13
That didn’t age well.No way an undefeated conference champion is out against a 1 loss team. It doesn’t matter if uga pulls an Auburn and loses like only Auburn can.
This isn't any longer about who's best, it's all $ motivated and the Committee is crooked as they come. I'm actually more surprised they didn't put Michigan, OSU, bama and ugay in at this point with all the eye test recent win loss bullshit.
It's a sham.
Good call. The above was using the CFP rankings today. The B12 would have had a rep. So I think the championship game would have been Oklahoma State vs. either 8-4 WVU or 7-5 Iowa State for a spot in the CFP (If you remove Texas).1. Nope. I was 100% wrong. Up until after the way FSU played against UofL I didn’t think it could have happened. Had FSU blown UofL out with a 3rd string QB, I don’t think there would have been any way possible FSU isn’t #4.That didn’t age well.
