And if you think for half a second that I could begin to give a öööö what anyone else's opinion is here on CPJ, you haven't been paying much attention.

No, the fact that you have no self-respect is pretty obvious. But thanks for pointing it out.

Well if you want you can start a poll and see what the rest of us think of your opinion. The ACC champion was going to the CFP in that situation. Pretty clear to most anyone.

It wasn’t a lock for us. But our body of work was better at that point than Ohio State (especially if you included an FSU win).

Last year was a shit show. There is no excuse for getting routed in the 4th quarter like we did. Another 2017 and CPJ deserves to go. 2014 and 2016 were both great years by Tech standards.

2015 could happen to anyone. For Tech/UNC level teams it means 3 wins. For a team like fsu, 6 wins.

wow - lame personal attack because I don't grovel at CPJ's feet.

I had come to expect more out of you, Colt. Not terribly surprised though.

So you do care? I figured as much, and that was just a test to prove that I was correct, as usual.

I don't care what other people think, no.

Adults who do tend to be either women or small-minded worry warts.

A sign of low self esteem is worrying what others think, esp. as it pertains to anonymous message board football opinion posts. That you do seem to care speaks volumes about yours.

You sure seem to care whether other people think you care what other people think.

you guys sure get upset at people who don't worship 2014 and CPJ. Only 1 of us turned this into anything personal after the other didn't heap praise upon Almighty 2014 and our head football coach.

I pretty clearly said "deserves to be our coach in 2018".

:lol::lol::lol::crapstorm:

"I want him to be our coach."

"You're mad because I don't want him to be our coach."

Click some more emojis, I love those things.

Sometimes 'other people' have something instructive to teach me. I've learned a lot about maternophilia on this board, for example.

You love making shit up too.

What I actually said:
"I think CPJ has earned the chance to coach us this year and I am hoping his post-2014-recruited class of seniors shows that he can Win Big for us more than once in 8 years. Another losing campaign should make 2019 up for debate."

But don't let facts get in the way of your snark!

you do realize I wasn't referring to you as the person with self-esteem issues, right? Just making sure, given your propensity to claim I posted things that I actually didn't.

Um, what? I was just commenting in this thread. Nor did I realize I had a propensity to claim you posted things you didn't. Not that it matters, but what are you talking about?

So we should hire...?

Ohhh, Lane Kiffin!
Lane Kiffin is going to seem less and less ridiculous a choice in coming years. Not sure he'd want to come here, but it's not like he's simply a horrible coach. Just way too young when he got his chances, and as a result has done a lot of immature things. He was coaching an NFL team at 31. CPJ didn't become a FBS head coach until he was 50.

I'm not intentionally making anything up, although I'll admit to the snark. I do love me some snark, but don't be so defensive. I just assumed that when you said he'd earned the chance to coach us, by your own criteria, that meant you would want him as the coach. If you didn't want him as the coach, then obviously there would be some criteria of yours he wouldn't have met, and therefor he wouldn't have earned the chance to coach us. So I took "I think CPJ has earned the chance to coach us this year" to directly imply "I want him as our coach." But there must be something I'm missing here.

So, you think he's earned the chance to coach us this year, by your own criteria, but you don't want him to anyways?
