Ranking our regular season opponents

Well if you sign for the tip, make sure you get the decimal point right, considering you can't figure out how to spell "extraordinaire" (one r genius) you stupid motheröööööö.
The internet... where every return key is on a hair trigger.

So you're utilizing a grammatically abysmal sentence (improper use of parenthesis, run-on sentence) to teach me a lesson in English?

Noted.

Don't worry simpleton, you're gonna earn the entire $0.75 that I sign for.

No need for the $0.75 . I imagine you need it a helluva lot more than I do.

Apparently you are uninformed. Jon Gruden will be the next head coach at the University of Tennessee. I thought you Tech guys were supposed to be smart,Damn.

Assuming he shows he has learned how to manage boosters and the pressure of being a head coach from Saban, last year's OC from bama would be a good fit for UT.

The tennis pro at my country club, or I guess her lackey probably.

I doubt that the high school kid at the county rec center that you drive by when you're delivering the pizzas qualifies as a "tennis pro", but I guess by Tennessee standards that's fancy like.

Ruthless.

I think we're going to crush Tennessee, but we'll also probably beat Central Florida 19-13 and we're certainly going to get our asses kicked by Miami. The Dodd Bowl likely will not give us a decent indication as to how either team's season will go.

Why do you think you will crush us? I think Vegas has us at -3.5 right now, I expect it to be that close with either side winning by a small margin.

That's true.
You don't have a court at your house? Too bad.

I did, but the upkeep on the grass courts was more than I was willing to invest. So, what's the next best option? We decided to put in an above ground pool. Best $ we ever spent.

So I've been on vacation all week and haven't had much chance to keep up in this thread. Do you think that Tennessee is better than the 7th or 8th team we will face this year?

I've seen you try to dismiss the strength of the ACC, but to me that just means you haven't been paying attention.

I don't think I've dismissed the strength of the ACC at all, as much as I've thought that the Coastal and the SEC East were not really that far apart. I think they're very similar, while the Atlantic is top heavy with Clemson and FSU. I even said that the ACC was definitely the best conference last year. They also have better coaches.

To answer your question, I think Tennessee has the chance to be as good as the 2nd toughest team you play or all the way to #7. The reason I say this is because we actually do have a lot of returning talent on defense. You guys are killing me about the Vandy loss (rightfully so), but we were decimated by injuries by that point of the year. UGA has questions on their oline, UNC loses a lot, I think Miami will be good, but replaces Kaaya, I'm not as high VPI as some of you and Duke and UVA have a lot of work to do. Butch has recruited very well and has assembled a very good staff. We could go 10-2, we could go 6-6. It's not a cop out answer, it's just a lot of unknown with this Vol team.

I really don't think Butch is going to be there past this year. He doesn't appear to have what it takes in my opinion.

Also, it might come as a shock to you but every team has injuries during the year. If you let a few injuries affect your season, there's a problem somewhere in your program.
