It's illegal to recruit a kid from another team. There's already rules in place to stop the poaching.
Ezzard's appeal has been denied.
I agree...and that stipulation is spelled out if he were the one sick or hurt, he would need to be within 100 miles, OR the closest D1 school if there is not one. But for family sickness, that option is not there. Not defending it or saying it makes sense, just throwing it out there. The thing with Clayton though is there is NO Div1 NCAA school within that 100 mile radius of his home. He moved to the closest one to home.
Are we sure this was his appeal? Or was it the first request. It seems we knew about Sims/Clayton before Ezzard so it would seem strange to find out Ezzard’s appeal first. Maybe this was just a delayed response to the initial denied request.
We knew they would last minute deny our players' waivers. I am not surprised one bit. It was a calculated move on the part of the NCAA.
Question: did any other schools get any waivers granted or denied this week?
Of course they did.....USCw got one approved last week.
And it looks like Michigan ööööed Sims over. öööö Michigan. öööö Harbaugh. I hope Michigan State dominates the series from here out. Why not Ohio State? Because öööö Ohio State too.
Bullshit. Harbaugh is just getting his ass covered by the AD. He is a douchebagSims parents aren't happy with NCAA. Man I hope these guys all have lawyered up.

I hate Harbaugh as much as the next guy but this looks like it's mostly on the AD.
I heard one compelling argument that the schools do not want the NCAA to go away because the schools fear that student-athletes would organize against member schools. Perhaps the NCAA is the hen in charge of the fox house. At some point in time some schools will tell the ncaa to pound sand. It is the mob plain and simple.
No doubt. It sucks for the players and it sucks for the fans.
