Sources say CPJ could step aside after this season?

I mean, a large number of Instagram models are basically prostitutes. And Taylor Swift is an angel. So of course you could hook up with an IG slut.

True. I should've added "without paying cash."

I think 6-6 (3-5) would be understandable to a lot of people but still put him on the hot seat. With a nice set of QBs and Woody in his second year, the expectations should be pretty high for 2019.

if "hot seat" means "don't have a bad year next year or you're gone," then I think PJ is almost to the place where he is perpetually on the hot seat. I think he is a 4-win season from being unemployed, period, unless he has a 10+ win season immediately preceding it, and/or a run of beating UGA.

If we don't go bowling this year, he'll be in serious trouble. I'm not positive that TStan will fire him but a mediocre 2019 would definitely be the end. And if this year is really bad (3-9) I think he'll be gone.

But I also think he'll win 7 + 8 games this year.

6-6 is my prediction. I think it depends on the types of losses for this to generate warmth under CPJ's seat. I.E. Lose to Clemson, Miami, mutts is one thing. Losing to Puke at home, Cadavers, USF etc is another.

A 1-game improvement with a Sr. QB isn't a particularly good season. Only marginally better than a thump in the balls. But if he loses to the good teams and beats the losers, he'll be OK going into 2019.
If we bead Puke, Cadavers, USF, etc., will you promise to finally shut the öööö up?

What if we threw in Miami as well? Will that finally do it?

Where'd you get that from? Being a student watching Boss Ross build a natty was an awesome experience. Buying season tickets for the last 3 years of JoeHam's career with Friedgen was a ton of fun. Watching us beat the mutts 3 IAR and beat Notre Shame at the Gator Bowl were highlights.

I know of only one coach who's been blown out by Duke 3 of 4 seasons in a row and had missed bowls and losing seasons 2 of 3 in a row the past 25 years or so. Only one coach who shrugs his shoulders and says "IIWII" to mediocrity.

Full disclosure: My Tech fandom started with Ross when I came to the campus in 1987.
Then look up Ross’s record his first 2 years; 2-9, 3-8. Two losses to Duke, 14–48 & 20-30. Why were you not calling for his head?

And Ross was actually permitted to recruit.

BTW, the bolded part is a lie, but that’s your character, apparently.

Whose seat is hotter? Bud Peterson or Paul Johnson?

Unless big donors use their leverage to bring about a coaching change, a good AD would consider the way we lose as much as how many we lose. Without going back to last season game by game, the only WTF performance I recall in 2017 was the second half of the Duke game. Losing badly to a couple playoff teams doesn't justify firing a head coach. Fans obsess over the W/L record, but knowledgable coaches and ADs understand that close games can go either way, and some years you get fewer breaks than others.

Ross took over a no-talent bare cupboard and won a natty in 4 years.

CPJ took over a NFL-laden team and went 6-7 just 3 years later and hasn't sniffed a natty here. Ross was also a better recruiter. CPJ is the king of IIWII. That had never been uttered on the Flats before his arrival.

I've not called for CPJ's head as you imply, which makes you a liar, but that's your character.

If we don't "bead" Puke, the Cadavers, USF, etc, will you promise not to make a bunch of excuses, like the mediocrity-embracing loser you are?

I know your bar of excellence is beating those teams - some people have higher ideas of success than you.

6-6 is my prediction. What's yours, Shoulder shrugger?

Not much left to accomplish after a natty so I could see him stepping aside at the end of the season.
