I put a lot of stock into what RM says on here. He knows both perspectives.

When did he post this? I went all the way back to may on his profile and never saw where he wrote this... Please tell me what day and year he said this on.

LOL we go to the games dumb@$$. Most of us to many of the away, championship, and bowl games. What more do you want us to do?

Never saw 65000 since sellout was about 62000 one year vs georgie but folks remember or need to remember we CUT seats to get to around 55000.When I was growing up Grant Field was one of the largest stadiums in the South.I also can remember when vanunted Stanford stadium seated less than Tech.We could leave Wadley at ten and get to Athens at dinner time and walk to a booth and get a ticket and then move to a good seat.Couldnt do that at tech.

You really want to stick with that one? I guarantee that the number of sell outs at BDS over the last 10 years is greater than the number of victories over the cesspool in that same time period. Guarantee.

This thread is just asinine. It's so out of line on so many levels.....it's just flat out embarrassing.
 
Do the players not understand that if us fans didn't exist, they wouldn't even be able to play on scholarship? We work in tandem to make our program exist. I think we did pretty damn good this season in filling up the stands for a team that couldn't even beat Kansas. Even North Dakota State beat Kansas.

Also, ibeeballin, are you a current player or something?

I feel so conflicted every time this gets brought up. As one KU fan said to me after the game, they were right where they thought they'd be through two games: 1-1. It's just that which game was which was wrong.

Important part emphasized. I think about how much I matured from when I was 21/22 to where I am now (28). Now at 28, I realize that I still have further maturing to do. I take this with a grain of salt because I know Dwyer will look back on those comments with regret when he gets older.
 
As for Dwyer his English make people like me look great. The one thing I know if I were the prez of Tech I'd call in his English profs with or without tenure and fire them on the spot. As for his hating on Tech he should look in the mirror and realize it's him and not Tech. He had great coaching and great academics. It's about himself and not Tech.
 
After reading this thread, I think both our players, and our fans need to grow thicker skins. Was what Dwyer said completely uncalled for? No. We've all seen that before. Was the forum he choose to voice it appropriate? No.

Like I said the people on the message boards, this message board, and face book for that matter are the diehard fans that buy tickets and go to games. It isn't his audience. The wine and cheesers that show out only for a couple of big games and don't bother following Dwyer's fb page, or post on message boards are the fans he has a problem with.
