Scott Satterfield and Neal Brown should be on the top of our list.

We should also look at Blake Anderson and Seth Litrell.
 
After watching GS transition out of the option several times, my honest recommendation is to not go from hot to cold - meaning, go with an offensive philosophy that blends option concepts with more traditional concepts. That way, the undersized folks aren't just deadweight and the new system recruits can shift the direction of the offensive style. A concept coach such as Willie Fritz would be able to do this - somebody who isn't triple option oriented, but knows it well enough to use pieces of it to gain a strategical advantage.

I don't know. Saban came south and did pretty well at LSU. A new coach would have staff under him who (if chosen well) already have Southern connections. I think it's more a question of having a coach who has an interest in it, a disposition for it, and the support staff to make it feasible. Dabo seems like the kind of guy you'd love to have in your living room. CPJ, I'm not so sure. Then again, Saban seems pretty unlikeable, too.

Nothing for or against Willie Fritz's offense, but he's not done great at Tulane (4-12 in conference through 2 years) and he's already 58 years old.

In regards to Saban, does it really make a difference if your banker is likable?
 
That's true. I don't think anyone would win there. He's also using a different offensive philosophy than what he did at GS. Just using Fritz as an example. He may be 58, but it's enough to install a transitional offense. I'd also recommend Mike Houston or John Grass. Option oriented, and they know the triple option but don't explicitly run it.

I want someone with no prior affiliation to Georgia Tech. Someone who has hate in his heart. Someone who wants to be the head coach at Bama one day but is tired of waiting. Someone who isn’t afraid to bend the rules in the background. Someone without a pannus. Someone who will quickly appreciate the hate for 316.
