You are assuming he could have recruited this roster. I like Monken but that's a stretch.Jeff Monken would win the ACC and probably head to he CFP with this roster...just saying

Yeah Sims was a top 10 dual threat out of high school. Pyron seems to be more like a Kenny Pickett type recruit... which i mean.. I would be ok with.. but I love how dynamic Sims is and see how he could potentially be like a RG3 type of guy. Just gotta let him progress and put him.Sims was higher ranked than Pyron is by a good margin. I know we offered an 8th grader in Carrollton, but he has yet to play a varsity game.
Scratch both of them. PJ wouldn't adapt or recruit. The present staff can't coach. Those are not the bars, clean house and go find a football coach, there is no risk, what have we got to lose?
And the floodgates of $$$ didn't magically open for recruiting. We still struggle. Our current fundraising activities to replace the Edge Center would have probably taken a few months at a factory school.Cpj talked constantly about not getting the money needed to recruit. Our staff and budget were at the bottom of the acc. His ad (mbob) was absent for years. I'm not saying he's a master recruiter, but he wasn't getting much support.
Stop supping the cap, or something. And the floodgates of $$$ didn't magically open for recruiting. We still struggle. Our current fundraising activities to replace the Edge Center would have probably taken a few months at a factory school.
Pretty sure our staff budget is still near the bottom of the ACC.Cpj talked constantly about not getting the money needed to recruit. Our staff and budget were at the bottom of the acc. His ad (mbob) was absent for years. I'm not saying he's a master recruiter, but he wasn't getting much support.

The term you're looking for is sucking the flap.Stop supping the cap, or something.
Plucking the fap?The term you're looking for is sucking the flap.

This was built by D Rad who then left for Clemson and supported their athletics quite a bit. We then received no support from Bobinski for quite some time. D Rad hired CPJ so of course he supported the team and program. He just left in the middle of it for a better opportunity.Really though, how much $$$ did he need to drive around metro ATL HSs and recruit, something that same ATL HS coaches said was not happening under PJ?? Why the need to go to SC and other bordering states to find small'ish OL men being ignored by P5 schools? Couldn't he find those guys locally?
Plus, we did build a brand-new SOtA indoor practice facility back in 2011 that was supposed to improve recruiting. PJ Fan Club conveniently forgets this investment, as did PJ.
It's good to have a HC who doesn't bash our school anymore.
Tech indoor facility to provide recruiting edge
One of the more important facets of Georgia Tech’s Brock Indoor Football Practice Facility is a slab of polished concrete about 14 feet above field level.www.ajc.com

There is a difference in capital budget and operational budget. Improvements have been made at both the Edge and our Indoor facility.-PJ requested money be spent.
-Money was spent.
-Recruiting didn't improve.
-PJ still didn't recruit locally.
-PJ blames the school.
I'm not from the generation that uses that word in that manner, please explain the context in which you used "cap" above?Stop supping the cap, or something.
Really?I'm not from the generation that uses that word in that manner, please explain the context in which you used "cap" above?
You need to go back and rewatch that 2014 win vs. the mutts before you give Thomas credit for that win. I’ll give him credit for 2016 but I tip my cap to Isaiah Johnson, DJ White, Zach Laskey and Harrison Butker for 2014. Thomas gave the mutts 2 TDs .And "nearly" 5-6? We won in 2008 with some of the best talent we have ever had at GT. Lost in 2009 with some of the best talent we have ever had at GT. We then went to losing until we luckily had JT5 Grace the team and win two for us. Otherwise, that's it. There is no "almost 5 wins" . By your measure, we should have kept Chan for his almost wins against UGAg
I have effin' idea what " supping the cap" means, is that even English?Really?
Dear Lord, do you ever stop blaming things on the referee?A yellow flag with 10 seconds left didn't help
Have you read the title of the thread you are currently posting in?I have effin' idea what " supping the cap" means, is that even English?
