They have recruiting advantages, sure, but they don't get the top talent "by default". If Richt were a bad coach with .500 seasons and were still there, they wouldn't be getting the top talent.

Oh yes they would. Most of your Georgia High School coaches and teachers have strong UGA ties. Not counting the major news outlets.

Bobo may be the OC and calling plays, but it's Richt's offense and Richt is a master at developing QBs. Nobody in 15 years has gone there to play for Bobo

I'm hearing that Bobo is big in both the recruiting and the development, and that they might lose recruits if he leaves.
 
When is this going to happen or not happen? CO St lost to Utah in their bowl so perhaps their interim coach didn't pass his audition.

He would totally leave if offered the HC job at Colorado State. He knows he's about a hair's thickness away from getting fired when the dwag fanbase gets themselves into a twist next. He's not leaving because he's not going to get offered the job.
 
Not great fan of Mike but he has been around MR for a long time and his value is he can work with MR and is great recruiter for the offense.Folks in HS know that if you go to Georgie you are going to throw the rock and most good armed qbs go there.He does catch hell everytime something doesnt work though but sometimes its MR fault and Mike catches the flack..We may be able to get some folks here now that he is gone.
 
I agree ....he needs a pay raise up from over 500000 bucks a year compared to other OC guys.....he may not get it though if they lose the bowl which.......I hope happens.
