How in the hell can anyone say the B12 is gonna be better than the ACC when they are willing to have UCONN in their league?

2031 is pretty damn far away based on the ever evolving conference movement. Who knows if either will the ACC/B12 will be around by then.

A couple of teams in the 12 are hoping for sec slots. 12 trying to stay alive, see the timeline. Time to make tomorrow matter and grow GT.

If Key and JBatt keep up the recruiting and organization building they are currently on going, and Dabo keeps running Clemson into the ground based on his misplaced principles, we will be looking at Clemson in the rearview real soon. We are presently on a clear path to be one of the top teams in the ACC in the near future. Knocking off FSU tomorrow will bring a lot of attention to Atlanta.

We made it clear to the ACC we don't care about any of them when given the opportunity to pick a permanent yearly rival to play and we chose "none of the above".

Where are you getting this “running into the ground” regarding Clemson? They have 1 less than 10 win season (9 wins last year) since 2010. Clemson has a boat load of talent returning this year. If Cade K can progress, they are a 10-2 type team this year.

GT proved today you can’t just bring in 15+ transfers like Norvell and plug & play for instant success. CBK and Dabo still recruit HS first and foremost to build the program. Whether or not Dabo not embracing the Portal will hurt the program long-term is still way to early to call.

Dabo is unnecessary handicapping his team. You can't build a championship team flipping your roster every season like Coach Prime; but you can fill spots with the portal. GT proved today that bringing in a starting QB and some DL help through the portal can help your team bigly. Clemson was a top 10, or even top 5 team under Dabo before the rule change, it is not now. Dabo's refusal to use the portal is big part of why Clemson is now a good team; but not the team to beat in the ACC anymore.

So if Clemson isn’t the “team to beat” in the ACC, who is? Miami? ROFL UofL? Who?

Clemson is still the best team in the ACC on paper talent wise this year. Win or lose next week. Your hypothetical on what Clemson is pre/post Portal is still TBD. Again, they have 1 non 10+ win season since 2010, and it was still 9 wins, with 2-3 games they blew (FSU, @ Miami) come to mind.

Clemson has been winning, but not how they were before cheating was made official for everyone. The uga game will level set where clemson is now. There is a big difference between the top 4-6 teams and the rest.

I’d love for Dabo to be right. It would save college football. But I don’t think it will. It will fall somewhere that college basketball sits.
