Expansion Rumors…

I think we sell out for all Big 10 games. All of the schools have significant alumni in the area who rarely get to see their teams, traveling to Atlanta is easy and the College Football Hall of Fame is a bonus. We need the money to begin to rebuild our program and eliminate our debt. With a new AD and a new coach we can turn the corner.
So we play last years UGA game for a full season, but with big ten games? I believe your vision for the the top teams but Northwestern is never going to be sellout. We are a southern team. Your rivals are in the south. When Tech has forgotten that in the past, we wondered the desert for a long long time.

I'm guessing you have never been to Chicago. And the fonts whining about playing a road game at Minnesota have never done a pub crawl in the Twin Cities. I love the South. But there is some awesome stuff in the upper midwest - if you take a road trip to Michigan or Northwestern or Minnesota, you will NOT be disappointed. I've been to all three cities over the years - there is this impression that the only worthwhile place to watch college football is in the South. Wrong - it rocks up there too - not in the same way but a road trip to the Twin Cities of Minnesota will not disappoint - I did a pub crawl there many moons ago and oh, my, they know how to party up there.

Don't be so quick to write it off. Unless, of course, you miss those road games at Duke.

No guarantee we still get to play all these "southern rivals" by staying put. We can argue plenty about preference of SEC vs Big 10 but we damn well shouldn't say no to either of em.

I don’t think this one is baseless. He’s working on confirming it but with the holiday is tough
He makes it clear in the post, the information originally comes from the FSU branch of their company. Now he’s trying to confirm directly. Which shows good journalistic integrity.
