I get all of that, but how did we go 0 for 4? Even 1 for 4 probably means ACC Coastal Champs. If you go back and look at the list of 4 stars we've signed since 2008, the bust rate is ridiculous. Francis Kallon, Ryan Ayers, Denzel McCoy, JC Lanier, Anthony Williams, Jordan Woods, etc. If some of those guys (especially the DLs) pan out instead of NEVER PLAYING A SINGLE MEANINGFUL DOWN, we're looking at a completely different tenure. Dedrick Mills getting kicked out immediately after Marcus Marshall transfers when Mills beat him out, the unbelievable rash of injuries in 2015, Vad Lee going from The Savior to a Stingtalk pole joke - so many little things that just add up.

Paul Johnson absolutely should have been a GT legend, but he isn't because of missed opportunities. That's gotta grate at him, and I imagine it's what led to his retirement. He knows he's been the best coach in the ACC for 10 years outside of Dabo, but his results don't back that up and now he won't be recognized for it.

No, that was the spike on 3rd and 1 the play before. It was an idiotic spike to bring up the 4th down instead of trying using two downs to pick up 1 yard. The throw away on 4th down was just the icing on the Pat Nix shit cake.

Agreed. But somewhat in there defense, the line judges were off a down on the markers. Not an excuse, just sayin'. Either one of those guys can eat at my table any day, any time.
 
So KW had no offer. 5 or 6 candidates to interview and it may take another week and a half.

So I dont think we are getting kw or Collins imminently. Everyone is back in play! Choose your fighter!

I applaud us for one reason. If we get the feeling person A is gonna be our coach, we find some way to like him, whether it’s his overcoming the tragic death of his mom or eating cheesesteaks. We find someway to connect to him and put unflinching belief in him that he can take us to the promised land. (Unless his name is whisenhunt)

Gus Malzahn was publicized by the AD at Auburn earlier this week as being back for 2019. Then their boosters blocked a multi-year deal for any coordinators. So Gus’ OC left and he’s stuck unable to hire Hugh Freeze. So what does he do? He reaches out to Todd Stansbury for the GT job.
 
Heard Wes Durham on radio today with mike bell & the other numb nutzguy he works with.

Mainly falcon talk, but got around to GT job. Wes said 2 people have contacted him (these people being coaches) trying to gather information about GT job.

Would assume they are guys never having been here. Any thoughts or guesses?
