You positive about that? You sure we won't have more little joe? Or we won't see a Nesbitt looking like Tebow with moves?

So I suppose Wake can't recruit QBs either with their system?

Better check your facts. Johnson has ONE national championship-Div 1-AA. Gailey also had one Div II national championship at Troy.

Neither had been a HC or Coordinator at a big time program before coming to GT.

Both preach running the football. That is what got Gailey fired, and the reason Johnson will fail. He may not get fired because we can't afford to fire him.

They are both pretty bland.

They could be twins. It's unbelievable that we fired Gailey (and Tenuta) to hire this guy.

you don't freaking get it. We won't score over time and won't win over time running the TO b/c we won't land top tier recruits. THATs a fact. Why do you think no one else runs it?

in BCS football to be a top tier team you need a good QB PERIOD. Whether its a pocket passer (stafford, ainge, etc) or a combo guy (tebow, P white, V young) you need to throw it MORE than PJ does, HAS DONE, and potentially will do.

Secondly ALL the QB's you refer too that are running qbs and get the highlights, throw it with effectiveness as well. They have a run pass of 50/50 to 60-40 depending on the offense. PJ's is something like 5 to 1 run to pass.

That won't work.

They didn't stop running the triple option because it didn't work. They stopped running it because the spread option was better, easier to implement, and easier to recruit the personnel.

Hatcher with spread option > PJ with triple option

But I think PJ would adapt

What does Wake's system have to do with anything? Wake attempted more than twice as many passes as Navy.

We just hired the coach of the lowest ranked passing team in America. I still can't believe it.

According to wikipedia he won two NC and 5 conference titles in 1-AA. That is better than one NC in div 2.

exactly wake doesn't run the triple option, they run a version of the spread option with a lot of cutbacks.

And yes, the reason why no one runs the TO today is b/c you CAN'T RECRUIT TO IT.

you can recruit the hell out of it when all you need is a 5'8" qb who can run. reggie ball had bad timing, huh? hello 119th in passing - every year.

PJ has two 1999 and 2000.

So if he is hired you're not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt? As he has said multiple times he will adapt to his strengths.

He now has a QB, WR's and a stable of RB's.

Why not give the man a chance, I just don't understand.

And at least two rings as an Offensive coordinator. Gailey got those where?

The Dallas Cowboys are not a big time program? I guess you mean college. And the last GT coach from a big time program not named GT was????

And Chan's offense is rated what? Navy's is rated eighth I believe? Almost identical?

Odd man, odd.
 
Because HS's today run the spread intstead of the TO because of the reasons I mentioned.

Like I said hire Hatcher at half the price and use the difference to recruit better assistant coaches

You don't understand, that is a complement. They think they should lose once every 10 years against SC with Spurrier. Most think they will NEVER lose with Gailey coaching us.

You are correct about Johnson; still wrong about Gailey, and the point is the same: Gailey had no meaningful experience at this level, and neither does Johnson. Radakovich understands why Gailey failed, unfortunately, his boss only understands who donates money.
