Some fans don’t want to see progress — Geoff Collins

In terms of BC offense ranking, didn't they just get their QB back from injury? I think they had him last week too and only scored like 14 but may still make any statistical view of their offense difficult.
He'll have probably a Heisman type day this weekend if the past two weeks are any indication.

It's an impressive list in the sense that I am not sure I could come up with worse suggestions if I was actually trying to do so.
I mean, it's kind of a technically correct answer. Sure, many of those coaches probably would want the job, but we'd never want to give it to them. Maybe he's making the point that we could do worse?

Nick Rolovich, Todd Hailey, Ted Roof, Jeff Monken, Ken N., Brian Bohann, Chad Lunsford, Andy McCollum, Kendal Briles, Jimmy Lake, Steve Addazio, Butch Davis, Dirk Koetter ...
None of those Guys are going to Recruit talent that is worth a damn.

Maybe Kendall Briles, but then again I wanted Art Briles as HC, or OC, when at Baylor and at Houston, he knew how to spot Talent and how to Recruit Talent out of East Texas and I think he would do well Recruiting throughout GA, where many of the places outside the Metro are like those FB Crazed towns in E Texas.

Other than K Briles, the rest of those Guys above would do worse at GT than CGC does because they would recruit worse, HS Recruits would ignore all those Guys above except maybe Briles.

No HS Recruit with P5 Talent is going to play for Monken, Bohannon, Ken N, and that list of characters you listed above.

You hire a guy off that list and Cutcliffe might coach until 90 with all the in-State Recruits he'd poach from GA HSs.

Some of you guys love hiring Coaches that drive Recruiting in the Ground, and strengthen our nearby rival Programs.

Where would we be now if we had just stayed the course with Chan?

There's alot of names on that list that are not upgrades from our current situation.
There are multiple national championship winning/contending coaches that would take this job... like Butch Davis, Larry Coker, Gene Chizik, Les Miles, Jim Tressel, Art Briles, etc.

Wait... am I being serious?

I'm starting to think the ACC is where doomed coaches go to die. Sort of like an elephant graveyard.

The ACC has the worst Fanbases, the worst facilities, the worst media deals, and the Worst group of ADs, the worst Conference Commissioner.

Clemson & FSU are the lone exceptions, but they are still harmed by our crappy media deal and crappy Commish's Office.

So tell us all WHY any HC should succeed in the ACC?

You tell me. Your the guy that knows it all.

And don't forget that we have ND by the short hairs. At least our former commissioner was able to get that done before riding off into the sunset.

I simply put forth facts as I see them, not some fantasized version of GT FB , that you stooges put out.

Not one Top300 ESPN Recruit gave a damn that we beat Miss State in an OB that wasn't tied into the CFP.

The things that excite 60 yr old and older GT Alums don't excite sidewalk alums, nor do they excite Recruits with NFL Potential and the necessary Academics that we need to win.

Understand CFB in 2021, not the CFB of your time at GT that you loved because it was an important part of your Youth, that CFB is never coming back, and wearing dated Unis won't help us in 2021

That's fine. I'm not delusional. All I ask is a defensible position from you. But all I get is you argueing with words and positions that you impute to others so you can create strawmen to mow down.

There is something about your personna and your posts that don't add up.
